Snapchat's speed filter concerns McLennan County parent

Throughout the United States, distracted driving has become an epidemic. Cell phone use - especially texting while driving - is causing an increasing number of accidents every day. According to the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration, 424,000 people were injured in vehicle crashes caused by distracted drivers in 2013. Today, Texas parents, including one McLennan County mother, and others around the country are becoming concerned about a new danger that is causing drivers even more distraction. It's called Snapchat.

Deadly airbags result in biggest recall in U.S. history

In the largest auto safety recall in U.S. history, more than 19 million vehicles that are equipped with Takata airbags have been recalled as of April, 2016. More than 100 injuries and multiple deaths have already been linked to dangerous shrapnel from exploding Takata airbags. Cars from 15 automakers are affected, with the possibility of even more recalls on the horizon. Honda alone has already replaced more than four million potentially deadly airbag inflators.

Three things you probably didn't know to do after an accident

If you were involved in any type of car or truck accident, the first thing you probably did (after recovering from the initial shock) was to ask yourself, "What do I do next?" You may have run through a mental checklist: Call for medical help, exchange insurance information with the other driver, etc.

Who's responsible for the immediate medical bills after a car crash?

If you're like most people, you probably assume that the at-fault driver pays for all the medical bills after an auto accident. After all, it seems fair, doesn't it? The person who caused the accident should be responsible for the damage he or she caused to innocent people.
